Nice shots, Ronnie! Still using the D500 combo? If so, it’s working well for you!

Thank you, HRBIEL, for your feedback. These shots, as has been the case for the last 2+ years now for wildlife pics, were taken with the:
-- D500
-- 300mm PF f/4
-- TC 1.4

I also got some good in-flight shots recently, still to be posted, of mockingbirds, bees, robins and cardinals, with that trusted combo. 👍

I have put my name in a Z8 list in a local brick and mortar store, waiting for the next batch of shipments. However, I am also contemplating trading in my heavy 200-500mm for a Nikon 500 PF, used, at the same store, then waiting for the D500 mirrorless APS-C replacement with Z8 tech in 1-2 years. I don't really need FF + 45 MP since my landscape photo-ops are limited. But I might change my mind once I lay my eyes and hands on a Z8.
