-- D500
-- 300mm PF f/4
-- TC 1.4
I also got some good in-flight shots recently, still to be posted, of mockingbirds, bees, robins and cardinals, with that trusted combo. 👍
I have put my name in a Z8 list in a local brick and mortar store, waiting for the next batch of shipments. However, I am also contemplating trading in my heavy 200-500mm for a Nikon 500 PF, used, at the same store, then waiting for the D500 mirrorless APS-C replacement with Z8 tech in 1-2 years. I don't really need FF + 45 MP since my landscape photo-ops are limited. But I might change my mind once I lay my eyes and hands on a Z8.
