It has been raining here constantly, so bird photography trips are out. Trips to the yard to photograph lilies are easier, and the cloudy skies provide great lighting. Though - two of the lilies are from WRAL (local news channel) Gardens and photographed earlier.

Thank you, vikingguy. If you are going to make the trip from Durham to Raleigh, you may also consider visiting the JC Raulston Arboretum near the NCSU campus. They have a huge variety of native plants in a space that is several acres in area. In the right season, the plants also attract a good diversity of butterflies and dragonflies.
