Oh, good you reminded me to set my camera's clock to the computer.

EDIT: Easier said than done! I can't get closer than 4 seconds. I have almost three hours to work on setting my clock. Sounds like a real good use of my time. :D

EDIT AGAIN: I don't know what's going on here, but I cannot get my camera and computer to show the same time. I went to the Menu and set the time according to the computer. When I took a picture, the camera's time was about 4 seconds behind. I kept setting the camera's time farther and farther ahead, until I finally had it set 30 seconds ahead of the computer. Result: the camera is four seconds behind the computer.

Luckily the EOS facility for downloading syncs the computer time to the camera.

Maybe I can run into town and buy a MK5 III.

Losing battle,Jerry. From my Nikon manual, "The camera clock is less accurate than most watches and household clocks. Check the clock regularly against more accurate time pieces and adjust as necessary."

Fortunately, I still have another day to work on this, since it takes another day to pump sunchine into Oregon.

EDIT: Sunchine? See, we don't even know how to spell it here.

I remember reading that, but I thought it might be right for the few seconds between setting the clock and pushing the button. By the time I took the picture, my camera's clock was just two seconds behind.

I got a picture of 12:12:12 PM three times, manually. So, is someone going to pay me for these momentous photos? :D

You must have one large lens - and an even larger tripod.

I know the exif data shows otherwise, but the original (insert) was shot at 12:12:03. So I missed by a few seconds. Sue me.

Something is strange about the Rolex in the picture. It has many signs of being a 'replica' of a Rolex.

What???? I mean that thing cost over $34,000 new, but I got it used from Goodwill for 10 bucks. Should I be suspicious??
