Here are two from way back in time. I had the opportunity to visit the Prudhoe Bay oil complex in May 1986 or '87. The oil workers would be housed in these buildings during their two-week shifts on Alaska's North Slope, then they'd fly back to their homes for breaks of about the same length. A lot of them lived in Texas. The buildings are elevated to keep their heat from melting the permafrost.
The second photo is of the pipeline at Mile 0. It runs about 800 miles across the state to the port of Valdez in Southcentral Alaska.
You have a great collection of "Art work".
You inspired me to go out today for more "snapping".
When taking refresher photo classes, I found it odd that the instructor didn't spend more time to on challenge the
(Newbie-students) to remember the (diagonal formatting) of photos when looking thru the lenses. [Photos Shop] begins before you press the shutter.
The human eye and the mind of the (viewer) still enjoys the same perspectives of (art and photography), as we did back in the 1960's. The human mind still accepts images and the colors in the same way.
It should be of no surprise when someone appreciates and accepts "diagonal" formats, as humans, do.
Thank you for posting your beautiful artworks.
