Great Image. I googled Elmer, Kansas and according to the site Reno County Ghost Towns, Elmer's elevator still exists.

Thanks RodeoMan. Elmer is just a few miles south of Hutchinson. I was born in Hutch and raised on a farm nearby. Still have some relatives there so, prior to Covid, got down there once or twice each year and usually stopped by Elmer. Haven't been down there since Covid started and not sure I will this year either. I will definitely check that web site out.

This is an old tin-covered wooden grain elevator in the little Kansas ghost town of Elmer. Captured on film in 2000. I haven't been there for several years now so don't know if it still exists.

There is one That has been standing in Valley Park, Mo at the intersection of Hwy 141 and Marshal rd since before 1955. It is now a garden supply shop.

Good charater shot. I especially like the leaning crossing sign.
