Somewhat limited production on both cars with the Apollo totals of only 88 units. Apollo was created by an American, but the design was done in Italy, and the car used either of two different Buick V8 small blocks as engine choices. Bizzarrini was an engineer and designer and in his early years before he built his own cars he had worked for both Ferrari and Lamborghini. Lamborghini's impressive V12 motor was engineered and designed by him. While at Ferrari, he was responsible for the design of several of their cars. Probably his greatest work came in the form of the 250 GTO, which today is probably the most expensive and coveted Ferrari with one recently being sold at auction for 75 million smackers! And the person who bought that one was the founder and CEO of Weather Tech floor mats...I guess he's doing OK!
Nice Set, autofocus. I worked with a hot rodder once. He told me everything you see at a show is for sale, whether there is a sign or not. Therefore, appropriate title.
