I'll say that I can see a dark colored house cat grabbing at a friendly white dogs paw! I'm sure if I were to look longer I'd see more, but I love just 1st thoughts of cloud formations.
Your pictures are beautiful..... I don't take many night shots due to a "hot-pixel" problem (and I'm to cheap to buy an editor that can be used to fix this).
There free editing programs out there. check out (aviary.com) that's what i used before i got into the cs series.
I'm not one to get direct, but that wasn't a push, that was just plain rude. All of us are not professional photographers (yet) and some of us that think we are, aren't and some of us just do it as a hobby. I don't really know what your field of expertise is, but I would like to see some of your work. I may be totally out of line but I don't like to see others treated badly and as Forest Gump would say "that's all I have to say about that". Goodnight.

Sorry to be so direct, but you need the push.
I agree with you about that. And just lemon a totally different way than that and the taste, definitely different.

Granny (hope you don't mind me calling you that) I like the shot and then what people see in it is just amazing. I see all that has been pointed out so far. Do you see the creepy bird head at the very bottom almost the middle?

To me,a cloud lover, these are very interesting photographs. And despite any tecnical deficiencies are good shots.
Many pictures are discarded without ant thought.
Imagine if the photograph of President Kennedy being shot, Out of focus, camera shake , badly composed, background in appropriate but one of the worlds most saught after and no doubt profit generating pix ever.
And of couse its the subject and its perception by the author, this cloud photographer loves them.

I'm generally with Rhino's opinion, although I don't feel there's any issue with shooting rubbish. I certainly do it. I like the sound the shutter makes. That said, I don't put a rush priority on posting my worst possible work online in order to seek feedback from the "community" at large. The reason I say that is simple. People may look at those photos and assume that you're test shots are the limit of your vision and creativity, when that that happens you may not even be invited to shoot your own family reunion.
My advice is this, click that shutter. Hell, leave the lens cap on, it's fun! Then get to making a few images that you are proud of and showcase those. When you put creativity and talent together in the same frame, you will not be able to attract negative feedback from the likes of "community" folks, you will receive kudos.
Generally, kudos are better

Totally agree and on several other peoples photos too! Tips are great and appreciated not cuts and slams! Be Nice!
The dark area on the right in the middle appears to me to be a silhouette of an elephant.

I'm not offended, but I don't understand why the harsh critique. It was just a quick snap of the camera. Not meant to be ART, just something to look at. If all the photos we post have to be professional quality, I'm in big trouble. I KNOW this sounds like sour grapes, but it really isn't. I am studying, at the school of Ugly Hedgehog.
I checked out Aviary.com. I liked it. I used it on a few of my photos just to check it out and plan to use it some more. Did you have anything to do with designing it?

I was offended for you. I just put on some clouds and I don't know who'll think they are good or bad, I just put them up to find out why it's good or bad and everyone has been super nice and helpful in the past as I'm sure they'll continue to be. By the way, I thought your cloud looked like a fluffy doggie.

I agree with you, Krashzmom, I was very offended by the arrogance and snobbishness of Rhino. This forum is for fun as well as for learning. We shouldn't be taking ourselves so darn seriously here. Rude comments like that will only keep those who aren't 'professionals' away from posting their so called 'inferior' shots. No one should ever feel that way on this site.
