Great shots in the Blue Heron's natural home. Eyes are tack sharp and piercing is he/she eating a leaf or an animal.

Thanks very much, Johnny. They're predators, in this case minnows. But I have photos of them with shrimp and crayfish as well. And I'm sure they would take frogs and whatever else is on the menu for small swamp critters. Come to think of it, I have a set here on the UHH with one trying to deal with a Snake and finally letting it go!
