The first six are tied together loosely because of the clouds. The top two were taken two days ago of the Delaware River across from Trenton, NJ running high and muddy due to two days of extremely heavy rain. The third shot, taken about 70 miles north in NYC of the same weather system, is a three-image pan from my roof.
Four and five were taken this morning showing a different westher system.
Six is (very) loosely related to the previous two; their slickers are worn
due to the drizzle from those clouds.
The last four show seven people exhibiting one of the prerequisites some New Yawkas have when the leave the safety of their homes.
Beautiful set. Given a choice I would much rather walk and talk with a friend but it seems walk with a cell phone and talk with a friend on the phone is the new normal

Still walking and talking with a friend, eh?
Enjoyed these. The first two are beautiful.
Great views from the single seat behind the bus driver.
I love watching the traffic on the East River.
I'm from the other side of Roosevelt Island.
Which was known as Welfare Island before being developed.
To think that one man ,Mr Blackwell, owned that island as his farm.
I go to Rainey Park and Socrates Sculpture Park to watch the river flow.
Nice set. I love your city shots.
Nice set of images. The third is my favorite.
