If you are right that would prove it's all political. The basics of the case are pretty simple, so if they believe he committed a crime he should be charged now, not July. Have you not noticed that with the accusations, civil lawsuits and charges against Trump each one waits until the previous one is nearly done before surfacing. In real life that's not how things work. That means that the actions they are taking are politically motivated.

So the prosecutors slow roll lining up the ducks and by doing so achieve the exact outcome btbg offered. It doesn't take much to see through this sort of politically motivated tactic.

That's true but they have known all the facts for more than 2 years now. So the timing shows political motivation. To think otherwise would be incredibly naive.

The court process takes forever because main players fight subpoenas and appeal every decision along the way. The winners are the lawyers.
Regarding the January 6th investigation for example, Mike Pence "was initially subpoenaed by Smith in February for documents and testimony related to the failed attempt by Trump and his allies to overturn the 2020 election. That's true for a lot of things, but the Georgia investigation is about a recorded phone call. How hard can it be to decide if it violated election law or not? The fact that nothing has happened with it so far tells you all you need to know.

If you think the Georgia investigation is about a single phone call you haven't been paying attention. Trump actually made three phone calls to Georgia officials, but it goes far beyond the phone calls.
Lindsey Graham, Mark Meadows, Michael Flynn and Rudy Giulliani all have testified before the Grand Jury about their roles in what went on in Georgia. In Rudy's case it involved making fraud claims before the Georgia legislature based on his many election lies.
The investigation also includes the fake electors and they were just interviewed a couple of weeks ago.
Willis is reportedly considering bringing RICO charges in the case and just announced that charging in the case will happen this summer.
She recently sent letters to law enforcement officials asking that they start making plans for security after the charging announcements. Some think that indicates Trump may be charged...among others.

Yes, I think Trump will be charged as well, but given that Hillary, Comey, McCabe, Hunter, et al have never been charged I believe, like many others, that this is all political.

Hey, I was just pointing out reasons for the delay in bringing charges. Since the case grew from an investigation of a single phone call to much more disproves the claim that the delay "proves" that the case is political.

Wife said she wouldn't be surprised to see Hunter file some last minute motion today to try and delay the hearing scheduled for next Mon., or even try to offer his child's mother a very large amount of money to go away. She says his lawyer really stepped in it when he was walked right into the whole laptop situation by opposing counsel. She believes that they are going to do everything possible to keep Biden from any questions under oath in open court as it will likely open a Pandora's Box of legal issues for the whole Biden family.
She says it was really stupid for Biden to even reopen this case.
