Last week I visited Congaree National Park, “the largest tract of old-growth bottomland hardwood forest remaining in the U.S.”

If you like to photograph squirrels you are in luck….they are almost everywhere.

The tree photos were taken on the self-guided boardwalk tour, 2.4 miles roundtrip.

Interesting set. How were the mosquitoes?

Thank you. There were more mosquitoes than squirrels. I understand the mosquitoes will be worse in the summer.

Nice, a lot of cypress, and I have not seen any pictures of the park before.
