Something especially for the seniors here. Both my parents have made the comment before about seeing someone their age and thinking do I look that old. I think the dentist in the story may have lost touch with reality.

I believe that dentist was discharged from the Intensive Care Unit. His broken bones have healed but he will now walk with a limp and had a soprano voice.
At my 50th reunion a few years ago, a classmate of mine who was in homeroom with me came up to say hello. I was astounded. She was as thin and beautiful as she was in high school. Gorgeous, and still married to her h.s. sweetheart.
