Never mine. Nettle caterpillar. Never have seen one that I remember in my first 80 years. Pretty quickly in my second, tho’. I’m a little confused why I saw it in the Dallas, Texas area - sounds like it’s common in Southeast Asia.

If you saw them in Dallas,Texas, then, that's no good news. They are here now, and reproducing. Probably, a call to the Dallas Department of Agriculture would be a good idea. They might ask you to forward them picture for confirmation.
I have no idea how serious in the USA, this would be, but these moths are agricultural pest.
