When I was a young teen, dad bought our first "Hi-Fi Stereo" (early 1960's). It was a Zenith with base unit and side channel speaker. The first album I remember dad playing was Ted Heath's, "All Time Top Twelve." I was instantly in love. I still have the album, and have since bought the CD version as well. Wonderful story. We had a Zenith combo TV, AM /FM radio and record player in the early 50’s. It had an 8 inch screen.
