Racing for the gold. Three tied!
A good concept but the amount of blown-out areas detracts from the subject.

Thank you.
I have considered the blow out. It adds to the sense of movement by the sunlight on the grass. The blow out ends at the swing. I do appreciate your comment.
Reminds me of the lyric, “bicycle built for two” . . .

I like this photo except for the blow-outs. The knots are beautiful and warrant close-up work on their own.
Nicely done, who tied the knots, they remind me of the Hangmans knot.

Hangman's knot usually use thirteen turns, as I understand it. It also was the number of steps up to the gallows. I forget the specifics, but thirteen was considered to be related to the devil. Also I remember reading somewhere that since hanging was considered to be punishment, so the devil was to receive the soul of the hanged person.
Appreciate your comment. Thank you.
PS., I remember a similar knotting I saw years ago. I am not sure if it is used in macrame. The loops are locked in the same distances across.

They do seem to be done by someone who knows their ropes.
