Tell me which officer was attacked with a knife and the many that were found with guns according to CNN was three on the Capitol grounds including an off duty DEA agent and a gun was found in a pickup off the grounds but was anyone charged with actually unholstering or brandishing a firearm (I ask because I don’t know)?

By what mechanism or power was anything the mob did or could do going to have an effect on anything BUT the eventual outcome? This wasn't a takeover of a city, where murders happened and major fires, police precincts and evidence in ongoing trials was destroyed, and countless innocent victims and innocent businesses destroyed forever! and destruction piled up in the billions., and where NOBODY got in trouble, This only ever had one outcome.

I read all three of your articles and still see no evidence of an officer being assaulted with a knife or any gun unholstered or brandished you said officer were assaulted with many weapons including knives yet none of the three sources you site claim that. As a matter of fact the three are articles you cite only cite one (Christopher Alberts) who was found with a holstered handgun on the grounds (at 7:00 pm) after the riot when police were sweeping the grounds. The anti gun site you cited “The Trace” confirmed Alberts and then cited incidents that happened on the 4th and day(s) after. So, you said point out where you may have gone astray on your contention. I say your contention of many had guns during the assault (may or may not be true but I don’t think you will be able to prove it) or that officers were assaulted with knives is not true. As a matter of fact one of the articles you cite states an oath keeper leader gave the order no guns in D.C.

The Proud Boys included up to 8 FBI informants around the time of the protests. Don't know if they are/were liberals, but there are questions about why they evidently did nothing to warn authorities about the protests.
