Golden Eagle on Deer

Golden Eagles are uncommon on the East Coast. You can see them during migration and on occasion some will winter in the area.

I set up a blind on a road killed deer and was lucky to have this one drop in for some food.

Did this golden land next to the kill or land farther away and walk to the kill?
