My wife and I have one, which we thought was a novelty as well as an answer to having to carry a large camera on trips, but it never really worked out. We have the camera, two lenses and the adapter to use regular Nikon lenses, but all have been doomed to storage since the novelty wore off and other cameras filled the bill for a compact camera with better capabilities. Oh well, if that is the biggest mistake we made, we have gotten off light!
Yes, time passes and my expensive Kodak DC4800 with it record breaking 3.1 Mpix in the year 2000 became obsolete, then probably from disuse [Capacitors depolarize] silently died. But in its day it was a great all around and travel camera. MRP was $750 in 2000 and in today's dollars, $1,125.
