Winter is a long season for us but it's what some of us grew up in. Haha, we flew to Palm Springs, and it was nice the first few days we were there but it cooled down and so did our m/h. We slept really well! Events like the world's longest snow mobile race happen here and next will be the Iditarod so the teams will like the new snow which covers the icy spots .. it rained here a few days ago! No, I don't like rain in the winter. Neither do the airports.

My brother lives full time in Alaska. But not as far North as you do! He hates it in the winter if it gets above 25 degrees. Things start getting sloppy if it gets close to the freezing point.

Yes, every year we get rain at some point, cleats are a must in icy conditions.
