Call Canon support. Wonderful service and knowledgable people.
I've had a Canon Pro-100 for years and it's been essentially bulletproof, with one exception involving communication from computer to printer. Try downloading the current firmware update from the Canon website and re-install it - worked for me.
Be sure to check the flimsy plastic flap that you have to move in order to load paper in the top rear feeder. If this "flap" isn't closed the printer will just sit there and the "Print Que" will just accumulate all of your print requests.
On your computer, I would look at your "Print Que" and "Pause" and then delete all previous Print Jobs.
Next, I would ensure your photo paper is properly inserted into the feeder and that there are no "jams".
Next, turn the printer off, then back On.
Finally, I would close the feeder "flap" door.
Then send a print job to the printer. Watch the lights around the two large buttons on front of the printer. Flashing White on the top button is a great sign that all is okay. An orange/yellow flashing light on middle large button usually indicates problems with 1. No Paper in feeder, 2. Jammed Papering feeder, 3. Flap Door not closed, or 4. Print Que is "Paused" at the computer.
Hope this helps.
