Very sweet ride! The engineers have turned performance into pleasure as my C-7 gets 30 mpg on the open road. AFM works wonders in the economy area. My B-I-L has a turbo Porsche that doesn't come close to 30 mpg and we run dead-even in the Quarter Mile Grudge Match. Bring on the Italians!!!
When all things are considered, Gas is the LEAST Expensive thing about owning a car! I agree, modern Corvettes are the best performance Dollar$ you can spend. They deserve a HUGE, Bravo Zulu
There’s just something about a GTO. I was a Chevy Malibu SS fan in those days, but, again, there’s something about a GTO. 1967 was a terrific year for these GM models.

Beauty to me is different than performance. I find the handcrafted coachwork and styling of the automobiles of the art-deco age to be classic works of art as well as engineering masterpieces.
I had a '68 Firebird 400 4sp so I am partial to Firebirds. All Corvettes, GTOs, Chevelles and some of the Mopar cars are all wonderful. I left out '66 and later Mustang Fastbacks. Add them to my desirable's list.
