We have four dog-children. My question is that if a dog's sense of smell is so great, why do their farts smell so bad?

The average dog is better than an above average human.

I recently acquired my seventh dog. They remind me how generally content they are with their circumstances.

We can feed them the same slop every day and they are always grateful to receive it.

We can take them on a walk, using the same path everyday, and they are excited to explore the new smells along the way.

They are flexible when it comes to schedule and can easily go with the flow.

Maybe it’s not about them but those around them.

We recently got our eighth, can't live without them!

Lovely post about dogs.

Jean had 20 dogs when we first met and later we came across the US Border (from Mexico) with 16 dogs. Now we are down to 3 dogs and we love them to pieces. They just do not live long enough!

The most we have ever had at one time is 4. Now we are down to one!

I live on a farm, my last 3 are all dropoffs or rescues. Fred is a beagle left to fend for himself because he ran deer. A sweeter pup as one could ask for.

Our latest one is a rescue beagle/boxer mix. Just a bundle of joy.

The longer I am with my dog, the more impressed I am with his intelligence, they are magnificent creatures. I had a Border collie for more than 15 years which is pretty good but I wish he could have lived much longer. I have a rescue now and he is great to.
