Trumpet is my favourite instrument. My daughter learnt it at school, wasn’t too bad either. Like so many, didn’t carry it on. Commitment is hard to instill in young ones.

Looks like a great time Mark was had by all. My Father-in law played on the bandstand (country music) and loved every minute of it.

Nice memory there, Mark! I would guess you were probably late teens even early 20s in that picture - very mature for age in those days.
