Share Site Recommendation

I needed a new site to share photos, now that Shutterfly is closing theirs March 25.
After considering many sites I settled on Slick Pic (slickpic.com)
and am very pleased with the finished product.

Prices are reasonable, there are many helpful videos, a 14 day trial period
and perhaps most import, a Customer Service Staff that will answer your questions
in a prompt manner.

Shutterfly is NOT closing your images March 25. Someone fabricated an untruth here and I am going to straighten it out once again.
IF, you have stored images on Shutterfly, you can continue to have ALL of your photo's there as long as you make ANY order within 18 months. And Shutterfly will notify you via email when you are close to 18 months.
I order from them all the time so I will not have any issues.
Here is a quote from Austine, who manages there text service.
"Yes, it is true that to enjoy unlimited photo storage, you need an active account, by simply making one purchase (no minimums) at least once every 18 months. And don’t worry, we’ll send you a friendly reminder when the 18-month deadline is approaching."
So, again, they are not closing down on March 25. Only for those that do not use their service within 18 months.

Shutterfly is NOT closing your images March 25. So... (show quote)

what you say is correct. But in my article I was referring to their Share site which they are closing.
Yes you can keep your photos on Shutterfly. Mine all have descriptions.
I'm not sure by keeping your photos on Shutterfly the description will
still be there. Would you or anyone else know.?
Also do you know is there is anyway to transfer what you have in their
Shared site to another site of your choosing and keep the descriptions a well?
THank you.......Larry

I too am/was a Shutterfly Shared Site user. Yes, you can still store unlimited photos on Shutterfly, but their "Shared" portion of the site will be shut down in March as stated. The downside of Shutterfly's remaining portion they are keeping open, you must have a Shutterfly account to view someone's photos. That doesn't work for me most of my photos are from events taken in my 55 yr. and older community and shared on the community website via a link. Lots of technically challenged people live here so things have to click and go. I found a site called "Zonerama.com". They allow unlimited storage of photos. I've only been using the site for a week now, and I've only put up two albums, but it seems to be working for my needs. The best part is it is free. I encourage you to check it out and give some feedback. I'm going to keep tabs on this thread as this may be a temporary site for me if someone comes up with another sharing site. Good luck to all and keep us posted on your findings, Lane
