I have been offline for a few days because a tornado (f2) tore through my neighborhood. I got lucky as the main winds were a little north of me. I have a few large limbs down and the power was off for three days. These images are just a sampling of what we have here. I took these as I was leaving to stay at my mother's home until the power came back on. I will post more as I take them. 1/8 of a mile made a lot of difference for me and my wife. If it's not too windy I will try to get some drone shots.

Wow! Glad to hear you are safe!
Wow, glad you're okay!
Nasty having damage like that.
Glad you're ok Ken. Terrifying experience for you and yours to go through. Hang in there
Glad you and yours are OK.
Wow !!! Tornados are dangerous storms. Happy you escaped the worst of it.

Thanks, Longshadow. I was a second or two from jumping into my bathtub. We don't have cellars or underground shelters down here due to the water table causing flooding.

Thanks, Jack. We are ok. We can run from hurricanes but tornados are a different matter.

Thanks, Hereford. It was truly one of the scariest things I have been through.
kpmac,
Thank God you are alive and doing reasonably well. PTSD occurs less often with natural disasters such as this one than from man made disasters/situations. I speak from experience, I am a forensic neuropsychologist by profession. Please do not fear going to counseling should you or your family members need it, and I hope you NEVER need it.
Take good care of yourself and I wish you and yours well.

Nice photos Ken, recording what these tornados can do. Glad all you had was maybe some spoiled food.
Wow Ken, that looks scary - glad you are safe!
