Well, here are some more photos.
It just blows my mind when a snowstorm dies down and then the bright sunshine and blue skies take center stage.

Don't laugh too hard. This is my while going up a slope with a really goofy look on my face, mostly because the sun was right in my eyes.

Another snowy scene just to remind you it's still winter.

I had to include the dogs again. Here they are looking for the elusive ground squirrel.

The sunrise on a cold autumn day. I had to take this from behind the trees, otherwise I would have burst into flames.

One of my favorite places to hike is Spotted Dog Wildlife Management Area. There's a mixture of topography and the chance to take some great pictures of great landscapes.

These are truly enjoyable images of hiking with great companions. I really enjoyed your set as it brought back memories of outdoor time while stationed at Malmstrom AFB in the early '90's.
I used to hate those "draws" (image 4) when I had a rifle, sidearm, and backpack while it wasn't cold enough to forget about rattlers....in search of a nice little creek filled with brookies! Very nice set and thanks for sharing your adventures in Montana with us!!
Rob
Excellent set, Mark! Of course, my crew picked #4 and #6 as the best shots.
Hey Mark great photos of God's country! Tom
# 3 and 6 are my picks and #6, you have been spotted.
