OK - - I know all y'all THINK you know how lights get done - -
but HERE'S how they get done in Johnson City, TX (about 60 mi North of San Antonio)
This is an amazing display put on by Pedernales Electric (no one else could possibly afford the bill  )
There are about 40 HUMONGOUS live oak trees - FULLY wrapped - in a small park behind their office buildings.
You can actually FEEL it get warmer as you enter the park !!
In addition (not shown here - you'll just have to go yourself) the town is pretty well lit up as well.
And - in a week or two, you can take a horse and buggy ride through the town as well.

Beautiful shots. Now I see why I don't get much of a rebate on my electric bill.
Really neat photos. Thanks for sharing.
One way to be seen from space eh ?

Well - - why not ?? Call in and make reservations at the Silver K Cafe {Johnson City} for dinner - - then take the buggy ride through town.
