Recently I was at the Simeone Foundation Museum located in Philadelphia. The late Dr. Fred Simeone was the founder of this museum. Dr Simeone collected racing cars. When he retired, he put together this museum so that these cars can be preserved. He did not believe in restore cars but some of the cars that he owns were restored before he purchased them. If you are ever in the Philadelphia area and like cars, I recommend going to this museum. It's about 10 minutes from Philadelphia International airport.

It's a wonderful place to visit. I went several years ago on a weekend, they got out 4 or 5 of the cars and ran them around the parking lot.
They tend to want to keep the cars as found, with all the patina of age.
