Thanks Joe.

Breakfast lovers are shelling out more money to enjoy the most important meal of the day.

A dozen eggs cost $1.79 in December 2021, and the same eggs cost $4.25 one year later, according US Department of Labor.

The price of whole milk is nearly $0.50 higher than in December 2021.

Did you ever think to research why the cost of eggs have risen?

Of course not...then you couldn't blame Biden.

I'll start you off...43 million egg layers had to be killed due to avian flu.

I'm currently paying $8.99 for an 18 pack that used to cost me $1.89. After muttering WOW! I didn't blame anyone, instead I googled "egg prices" and had an answer.

I'm not a Biden fan but I won't even begin to believe he's responsible for the Avian flu.

And the most delusional president of all time claims there is not recession on our horizon. BTW, eggs are now up to $6.00/doz.

I researched the border problem and while the border is wide open, Biden said it is closed and under control. Since our president is a liar, it's easy to blame a liar for everything.

Actually he can be blamed in part for it.... feed prices have risen since farmers use diesel fuel for their tractors, the semi trucks that haul the product to the distribution point. Feed to farmers and eggs to the processor, and from them to the end user. So it's not all avian flu that has caused this issue

Nice try, but that dog won't hunt. Avian flu is certainly responsible for a little of the current price, but they like everything else were already pricey because of Biden's disastrous spending bills.

Thanks for the info. I never knew that Joe was so focused on the price of eggs.
I always thought his son's laptop took care of things like that. You know, like atmospheric rivers and such.
But what do I know? Luckily I have deep thinkers like yourself to inform me.

Seems Biden is indeed right that the border is closed, at least when it comes to eggs. It's to bad the same guidelines aren't used with illegal aliens.

As reported by the New York Post, there has been a 108 percent increase in the amount of eggs confiscated at the border over the last four months, according to Customs and Border Protection (CBP).

In most cases, border authorities have seen many more cases “in the last week or so where the eggs were not declared and then discovered during an inspection,” said CBP spokesman Roger Maier. “When that happens the eggs are seized and the individual is assessed a $300 civil penalty.” The fine can reach as high as $10,000 for anyone who tries again, or tries to smuggle in “commercial size imports.”

As inflation continues to rise, a simultaneous shortage in hens across the country has led to a surge in the price of eggs, with some cities seeing prices as high as $8 a carton. Meanwhile, a container of 30 eggs still sells for as low as $3 in Mexico.

As to the increase in the cost of eggs, that's solely the result of AVIAN FLU, and the necessary destruction of chicken and other flocks around the world, not only in the United States!

The increase in the cost of milk is the cost of fuel to get feed and other supplies to the farms and milk from the farms to the dairies which process the milk, them transport it and the other processed products to your local stores.

That's a minimum of three times fuel is used.

That doesn't count the electricity which is used at the farm, the dairy processing plant and your local stores.

Does your gas cost more than it did a couple of months ago?

Be honest.

Did the cost of your electricity go up in recent weeks and months? Mine did twice, once last summer, and again just recently.

What does the border have to do with the cost of eggs and milk?

Blame the petroleum companies for price gouging.

That's because Joe Biden's energy policies have raised the price of fossil fuels just as he intended.

Biden’s war on the fossil fuel industry which is tanking our economy has made it impossible for us to use economic leverage to bring an end to the Russia-Ukraine war. Because we are no longer energy independent, we cannot provide Europe the energy they need as an alternative to buying Russian oil, which has been financing their Ukraine war.

The economic sanctions we put on Russia have hurt our economy worse than Russia’s. Russia’s economy is better off today than it was at the start of the war almost a year ago. In short, Joe Biden’s energy policies are financing Russia’s war against Ukraine, something you, the Left, and the Democrat media have completely ignored.
