My late friend, Earl Keese, who posted many photos and drone videos on UHH, was a retired musician.

Here is a note I got from him.

Hi Brian. Thank you for the music. One extreme to the other, but I loved both. The 'Shag' brought back memories. I spent my working life as a professional musician & the old original rock'n'roll is how I started. Jerry Lee was my idol & I spent countless hours practicing the piano until I could sound just like him. I even copied his singing style. I can laugh about it now, but I was being promoted as Australia's answer to Jerry Lee Lewis. I recorded two LPs (one rockabilly, one country) & then got 'volunteered' for Vietnam for a year. After Vietnam, I went to the States where I lived & worked for 10 years. I never sang again, but played piano & B3 Hammond for various artists, both on tour & in recording studios. My bread & butter was country music & I played keyboards for Waylon Jennings for several years & worked with Merle & Willie. Waylon, of course, was Buddy Holly's bass player.

I also had my own jazz quartet, & I was resident piano player with the jazz band on the 'Natchez' river boat for a year, back in the early seventies. The 'Natchez' used to (still does) run tourists between New Orleans & Natchez. I still have the original master tapes of my early recordings & have had them converted to digital files & digitally enhanced. Have a chuckle at piano pounding DOOK singing Jerry Lee & Buddy Holly with an Aussie accent, lol. Cheers, Earl.

I am attaching one of his songs."Dook's Blues"

I really enjoyed trading posts with Dook. I remember him taking one off those remote control toy trucks and attaching a GoPro to it and running it on a beach in Australia. He posted some great drone videos also.

A great idea, Brian! He had great drone shots, but I did know about his history or musical background.

Being both Aussies we became great mates and Emailed each other pretty much every day...I still have one of his lenses. When he didn't Email one day I knew he had gone into hospital, in a big hurry. I contacted the hospitals in his area, around MaClean, NSW, but even though I found him the twits in the hospital refused to get my message to him. I even explained who I was and told them to check with Earl so he could tell them all was OK but they never did. I'm still very sad that I never got to say goodbye...
A couple of pics, he loved his van, he put a turbocharger on it and some of the stories were hilarious...
