Abandoned building just outside of Calgary Alberta. I wish I knew the story behind this building. It is clear it was under construction when abandoned and it must have cost a fortune to even get it to this stage. That's actual copper cladding.

This is what Tent Caterpillars can do to a forest. The black patches on the trunks and branches are thousands of caterpillars, and they can be a lot worse then this.

This is a Calypso Orchid, like most true orchids it has one leaf and one flower per plant and it's native to the Boreal forest. And it is small, only about 6 inches tall and the flower is only slightly bigger then a kernel of corn.

You could be right about that. All I know for sure is that this one is a model 26 and the manufactures place shows a date of 1952.
