Sort of a survey. Did you stay up till midnight? I've stayed up till midnight since I was a little kid.
I did the same thing that I have done since 2015. At 15 minutes til midnight I drove to the cemetery (1 mile as the crow flies) and waited until midnight and wished my Wife Happy New Year and told her I loved her and missed her and told her to save that spot for me on the bench next to her in front of the lake on the headstone, then looked up to find the brightest star above our grave and told her I see her watching down on me. Then drove back home, turned the lights off, went to bed and told the cat to stop taking her half in the middle and scoot over.

I did, but I forgot it was New Year's till around 1:30
Stayed up till midnight. What the heck is just 15 or 20 minutes passed my normal bedtime.
I was up until about 1:00 but at midnight I was watching the latest episode of "The Chosen" and missed all the hoopla that I would have seen otherwise on TV. My wife went to bed about 10:00 pm so not much of a celebration at our house. I just feel lucky to have made it yet another year. Life is pretty good. Hope all my fellow hedgehoggers have a great New Year. I will look forward to seeing more of your photographic offerings. Always enjoy them!

But of course! And got the cork in my champagne bottle ready to pop when count went ...3, 2, 1, Happy new year! Filled my wife's and mine flutes, drunk it, we kissed, wished HNY to each other and went to bed. Doing this every year.

I am up until midnight or later every night so nothing special there. I've never been one to celebrate the end of one year and the start of another.
Yes we did, we have dogs and they are very active with the fireworks! Also the UGA v OS semi final was on till late
Agree with you. I record everything I will watch so I can buzz through the ads. (They annoy me to death) I've tried to keep up with what passes for music, but I have failed. I can listen to a little bit of it, then switch over to something done by trained pros. Happy New Year!
Yes, but not because it was New Years Eve.
Yes I did. It's the one night a year that I stay up well past my normal bedtime.
I use biphasic sleep...so I am always up at midnight.
