Actually the Cathedral is on top. These striped double-headed columns were originally used 950 AD to support the roof of the largest mosque in Western hemisphere. The Catholic kings destroyed the mosque but saved the columns to support their cathedral.

It does make you look harder the first one and the second one I am looking out for the guy on the white horse and his little chubby mate on the donkey.
