Gator eye and yes that is my reflection in his eye.

This gator had babies close by. She watched me and followed me non stop.
She would smack her tail in the water , a warning to get away I guess.
I could never get into a safe position to get pix of the babys.
in the pic if you enlarge it, you can see my reflection in his eye. Trust me that was way too close.
Gators are ambush predators so most times if you see them you are safe.
The one you don't see that comes flying out of the water for you is the one that gets you.
Though there are many times they may come after you if you are stupid enough to get too close.
NOTE: they say run in a zig zig fashion to get away. NOT TRUE .... straight line is much better for reasons I wont go into now.
