Nice update on that oldie. Would the stock wheels and tires have been those skinny little ones shown? Those look more like passenger car tires and not up to carrying the load of a full truck bed.

I used to carefully paint my tires with white latex (tire) paint, but that was 75 years ago.

It is a beautiful truck. The owner was not around to talk to, and i`m not sure what was under the hood. I wouldn`t mind owning it though.
