I bought one after reading the ad; it looks like its a little more than just a holder. For $20.00 bucks I'll give it a try. Just hope it works with my Pixel.

What about that rumored iCamera? I hear you will be able to use it to make phone calls.

Jerry that's only a rumor. It's not real.

It looks like no UHHers have tried this gadget. I'm tempted to part with $19.00 just to satisfy my curiosity; on the other hand, I doubt that it works.

Because it does a lot of things people don't think of it as a camera. In fact if you think your phone as a mere camera you waste too much money buying the phone just as camera.

This is true. But I don't know of anyone that buys a phone just for the camera. I don't, and hardly use it as a phone. But..... What some people do not understand is the camera on a phone is a real camera.

My cell is a phone; grocery (shopping) list; celestial sky map; message device, web browsing device; navigation device; appointment calendar; notebook; ..., and oh yea, a Camera too! Handy, dandy little gadget.

Oh no..... Every phone company advertises and brags about their phone in the camera.

I would like to hear your take on it. I'm not planning to buy one but am curious about how it works.

There are a couple of people that have said they are going to try it. I want to hear what they find out.

I did buy one of these a while back online. As others have said, don't waste your money.
I forget what box I put it in down in the basement, and I don't really care if I ever remember where it's at.

I was turned off by a PC Mag review that reported the device introduced shutter lag when used on an I Phone.

But will it fit your phone?

Looks like is adds an optical finder and probably has some controls if you install the app. But kind of defeats the reason people only use their phone-camera. They don't want to carry a lot of stuff. I believe these were a LOT more money when first offered,
