I guess you are not that good at math! The D5 is TWO generations behind, Not a mirrorless, and, for $ 200 more I can buy a new D850 which is a more useful and better camera, except for sports. Best of luck.
For your information this is the current price for a used D5:
KEH $2,290 no shutter count shown
MPB $1,909 shutter count 264,148
B&H $2,932 shutter count 316,674 (CF not XQD)
My D5 is in excellent shape with a very low shutter count at a good/fair price.

You aren't going to buy a new D850 USA model for a thousand dollars. Lol lol. I personally believe the D5 is an EXCELLENT DEAL.
I agree Steve. It's a good camera and you are offering it at a very fair price.

He said he could buy a new D850 for $200 more than your asking price for your used D5 which came out to $2500.
Folks
The Seller, slcarn, is asking $2,300 for his Nikon D5 with dual XQD slots, is rated 9+ (B&H) and has 43,338 actuations, ...designed for 400,000. Additionally, the Seller reports, original box and packaging, 2 Nikon EnEl18C batteries, Nikon MH-26A dual charger, rubber eyecup, and flash shoe cover, and an unused camera strap.
Let's help all UHH sellers in facilitating the sale of their photography equipment on this web site, OK.
Negotiation, ...let's do it via private messaging, ...nothing personal.

I guess I should keep my comments to myself. In my defense, there were NO replies to this post until I chimed in. The OP should realize, with no public offers, that he should adjust his price. The D5 was a great camera in it's time, but its time is over. II sold mine and moved to mirrorless in December 2021. There are several much better Nikon cameras available right now for less than the OPs asking price. Just saying. Trying to be helpful. I'll stop that. Best of luck.
Seems like a great deal. Can’t go wrong if you don’t mind the weight
