We got a little snow yesterday evening, temp down to -8°f now.
Lost water pressure @ -2°, some dummy forgot to turn on the light in the Well House, well he thought he had turned it on two week ago so he wouldn't forget it.

I bought a solid state timer at a hardware store about 10 years ago and its worked ever since. It turns my well house lights on at 36 degrees F. and turns then off at 40degrees F.
Greatest purchase I've ever made.
Of course I had to go out every night for a couple of weeks to check that the lights were on!!
