There's too much there for me. A lot of detail but I'm not finding it easy to discern a difference between trunk and gravel on the sunlight side. The composition I like and in the shady parts it is O.K. but half the image is in the sun.
I'm no expert, it's just my opinion, and I'm pretty sure I'm a way of doing better. Interested to see what others think.

For me, the picture is too bright. I would turn the exposure down so that the background is much more in the dark and the glare off of the stones on the ground is removed. Also, seems to be some glare in a few other spots. That's just my personal taste speaking.

I agree. Also, I think that the background clutter is distracting.
