Some of us don't want to work on our computers.
Many years ago at a computer club meeting I won an AMD processor and motherboard. The rep from AMD was pushing their product over Intel. Evenually I went to a computer show, picked up all the parts and built a computer, and to my surprise it worked. I gave to someone who was just starting college. She used it for quite some time.
It was fun, and satisfying, but once was enough.

I have built several thousand PCs over my life, and still do build a few. Ain't nothing to it other than some frustrations caused by importers/distributors/manufacturers deciding for themselves that THEIR bits never break down and that no user would EVER WANT any of the many accessory bits shown in their advertising.
