Ansel Adams would use his darkroom skills, not click on a button to have a computer do it for him.

So, the greatest photographers are shooting JPEG and letting the camera decide how the picture should look?

That’s kind of like saying Ansel Adams didn’t need a darkroom.

Not so.
Maybe you don’t know the difference between actually doing work in a darkroom and running a computer program.

Physical difference or logical difference.
They both perform the same function in different ways......
Maybe you don't know what synonymous or parallelism is.

They both perform the same function, but the darkroom requires more skill than it takes to use a computer.
AA never clicked an AI button.

A good photographer can use any type of camera. A great photographer doesn’t need photoshop to fix his mistakes.

All he needs to take a fantastic photo is his mind, and he doesn't even need to share it... nobody will understand such a incredible art anyway.

Uh huh. Pearls before swine.

The mind photographs have created the world best pictures when they were shared by pencil, pen, chalk, brush on a paper or canvas by the beholder.

While Ansel Adams did not use Photoshop, he was very skilled in darkroom photo manipulation. (wet chemicals VS compute)

I think Adams was successful because he knew what he wanted the photograph to look like before he tripped the shutter, and knew his camera and photo materials well enough to achieve those results. If that required weeks in the darkroom, so be it. This process can be done with most any camera/processing workflow if mastered as Adams mastered his. The “greatness” is in the real post-processing where the results are viewed and evaluated.

The reason a photographer my prefer a lower pixel camera is they are generally better (less noise) at higher ISO.

If AA could have used a computer instead of long hours in a darkroom, what do you want to bet that he wouldn't have? Besides, a computer may be quicker but that doesn't mean it is any easier to learn.
