Is anyone here using Zenfolio? If so, what is your opinion of it? They have a really good intro offer for it ending today with 9 months free. It looks like a pretty good deal for all they are offering with it.

will

I used Zenfolio about 3 years ago and liked it, then I realized they were not displaying the full resolution images. I confirmed that with them and then switched to another company. It's possible that they have changed that or if that is not important to you then I give them a thumbs up.

I have been using them for several years now and am happy with my experience. I am not a professional, but rather wanted a central location for folks to go to see and if interested, download my photos. The only changes I make are fairly regular uploads and occasionally changing my home page photo and the links on the home page. I know I don't come close to taxing it nor utilizing all of the features. For me it is worth the cost. Bottom line - no complaints or issues with them.

You can see how I have my site set up here. Definitely nothing I would brag about, but it works for me.

I've been using Zenfolio for about 8 years now and am very happy with it. You can see how my galleries are setup here if you want to take a quick look: http://www.jenniferwallphotography.com. I'm in the process of re-vamping it a little and adding personal travel photos that friends have asked to see, so that's a work in progress. It's also very easy to use.

I have used Zenfolio for several years and I have been satisfied with then site. I am an amateur and just want a place for friends and family to see what I do. I should go into the site and do some cleanup work but never get around to it. One thing I like is the ability to post a "private" gallery just for a family member. They can use a password to open their own photos, without the whole world seeing them. Zenfolio is simple to use and gives be a platform for others to view. I am: kenvanhook.zenfolio.com.

I have 2 Zenfolio sites. One is where people can purchase images, the other one is a basic and people have to contact me. I have been happy with the sites. The customer service has been very helpful.

Does anyone display full res? I don't think so. They display a low res, but you can see the full res sometimes by clicking the image. I did not notice on them. I tried them and moved on.

Roni, I was going to ask why two sites, one to contact you. Then I looked. Two completely different sites. You can sell on both and have a contact page on both.

Do you really want everyone to see the family? You can add a password, and the same for the clients.

Nice sites btw

I wanted anyone wanting photos from the Nursingbabies to contact me directly. It is also much more money to have a site where I can sell my images.

I am not sure what you mean by a contact page on both sites. Please explain.

Thanks!

Smugmug said theirs is full res so I am using them and I can tell an improvement over Zenfolio. I also think there are more ways to build the site but I could be wrong. I am not a professional photographer...

I use Wix. I have a home page at GoDaddy that when you click to view photos takes you to my Wix site. Wix is more powerful and free, or they have a paid version also. I haven't done much in quite a while with it. I got lazy.

Same for me -- have used Zenfolio for several years and just renewed my subscription but I haven't done any cleanup, editing or adding new photos for quite awhile -- it's on my to-do list.
