Do, do, do lookin' out my front door...
Yeah, now I can’t get that song out of my head. Good shot, buy the way.

There is no doubt that winter in Montana is cold. I mean really cold. But there are also some amazing things to be seen. Here's a couple of young bucks in my front yard posing between meals. They had just finished playing by locking antlers and learning how to spar. It is an amazing thing to witness, and a blessing to have this beauty right out my front door. Hope you enjoy…
Beautiful capture. Cold enough for me here in middle Georgia… 27 at 8 am… but snow is rare. Would love to see the deer honing their skills. And… I listen to CCR in the car often.
One of many I suspect. This is a good one.
Nice to have neighbors like that, especially ones that will pose without requiring a release. That 10-pointer might not like being called young.
Good shot, now I'm singing it...
Great shot of the Mule deer and the White tail deer. The Mule deer(on the left) is a 3 point (Western count) and the White tail on the right is a 5 point (Western count). Eastern count, not used in the West, makes the Mule deer a 6 point and White tail and 10 count. Western count uses the side with the most points-a buck with a spike on one side and 3 points on the other would be called a 3 point.
The one on the left may be cross-breed because his ears seem a little short for a Mule deer. Tail and antler formation on him indicate a Mule deer. Maybe someone who has a lot of time looking at both races of deer can confirm or deny my indentification. A great photo, a wall-hanger in my opinion.

It looks like a Christmas Card Scene.
