Sometimes telephone wires are OK. They have their charm. Sometimes not.
Nicely done. I agree. While traveling in Beijing several years ago, the huge number of utility wires in and around the residential neighborhoods was astounding and like your second example, part of the milieu. Photos without them would have left out a very important part of the area. jak

Nice!! Your autumn church photo is definitely better without all the wires.
With photo 4 you would have a lot of work removing not only the wires but the shadows that go with them which are many. They cover the buildings, ground and the cars. Though annoying, they do add to the age of the neighborhood.
In photo 3 those power lines are part of the art; now they aren't so stark and heavy looking.

In the first set of photos I prefer the photo without the wires. The wires break up the photo. My eyes tend to look at various places. Either the wireless. Phot my eyes go directly to the church

Such a photogenic locale - and Three is spectacular 💥💥💥💥💥
In the second image, the wires are part of the story and create interest.
In the first, they are simply in the way and quite distracting.
I like the first image without the wires. I usually remove them. Sometimes they belong in the image. It's a personal thing.
I am completely in accord with your wires attitude.
When you lose the wires you need to lose the poles
Definitely without. In my travels, I see so many beautiful buildings as I go down the street. But the panoply of wires between me and them really deters a photograph!
MY personal opinion: In the first photo, leave the wires nearest the camera and take out the wires and post near the church. I'd hang it.
For the church images, why not remove the utility poles as well?
Stan
Thanks to all for the interesting comments. Removing the utility poles in the first image seems like a good idea now. That really didn't occur to me at first till I took out the wires.
