General Westmoreland visits Duc My on highway 21 just outside of Nha Trang (1965). We were a National Training Center. He arrived to watch a firepower exercise with two battalions of infantry and air and sea support. just like you would see at Fort Benning (or whatever they call it now)

This is a salute to my fallen classmates and all veterans. I took this in 1958 with my dad's IIIF Leica. It is honoring an unknown from the Korean War.
AMEN
And thank you for your service!
Each and every person who served or is serving swore an oath to support, defend, and protect The Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreigh and domestic. That oath had no expiration date and by taking it, the person signs a blank check payable by giving anything up to and including their life. They deserve out thanks. It is the east we can do for them.
Worthy of restatement over and over again.
Thanks.
