I still have to digitize some old family photos for this (thanks, Dane - I’ve been “intending” to do this for some time and this will spur me to do it).
Meanwhile, here are a few other memories …
A fun stay on the grounds of a small Sonoma winery, which Kaz - the owner - called his “B and get your own damned B”
Attending a memorable Brazilian churrasco at the home of friends there. Mmmm good!
Visiting the memorial to American soldiers in Bastogne, commemorating their role in winning the WWII Battle of the Bulge.
A hilarious visit to the (non-alc) Beer Swilling Pigs on St. Croix
Experiencing the magnificence of Colorado
Although I never met my husband until I was 21, here we are together when I was five through the magic of photo editing.
I met my Great Grandma Daisy when I was 10 years old. She was a very strong individual! She spent some time in Alaska. She was given the name Permelia when she was born but decided to be "Daisy" and so she changed her name. After she met me she began a friendship with me by writing letters to me after she had returned to her home in Boston. When in her mid 80's she knit me a two piece outfit, a skirt and a top . She was very talented! I love her outfit in this photo!
