Yes! There are gloves that let the fingertips fold back, but I've never used them.

My point and shoot stopped working in -23C in Canada tubing. Warmed the batteries and got a shot or two. One pic of the sign with the current temp. Once warm at home the camera worked fine.

Neither have I. I have a pair by Manzella with fingertips designed for better touch control that work fairly well but my fingers still get cold after a while. Spent a lot of time in the cold in past years, but, nowadays a lounge chair, plenty of sand, and a Pina Colada is my preferred leisure time activity!

I am wondering if shooting in cold weather (e.g., snow) affects the operation of a Mirrorless camera - if any.
I have used my DSLR for many years in cold weather...no issues. (I'm just thinking it's about time for new camera since I'm planning a trip to Japan)

I used a Sony A7R2 and an A7R4 on a series of documentaries in the Arctic. Aside from having to be careful not to get the skin of my face stuck to the camera, they worked flawlessly

I've used the Sony A7M2 at -10F without any problems. The battery won't last as long so bring spares.

In cold weather battery life will be lower for either camera. Just keep a back up battery in you pocket warm and if your not shooting for a while and have a large enough coat on, put it under your coat. I have shot in all temperatures. I shoot with Sonys and their strong suit is not their battery life on a good day.

You most likely will find that your batteries don't last as long in colder weather. Carry fully charged extra spares, kept in inside pockets next to your body so they stay warm.

When cold weather is involved the user is the limiting factor regardless of how novel the equipment is. Using a telescope can be as difficult as using a point-and-shoot.
