We are not in a recession! In an era of bad to terrifying news, this is a welcome change. "This is an economy that's still growing nicely. All that recession talk was empty."
You my friend have jokes. Bad ones or dreams I'm not sure which but good for you.

............and there was never a covid pandemic! YOU saved us all.......
The article mentions the attack on democracy by Republicans. Anyone notice the Democrats always accusing the Republicans of what they themselves are guilty of?

What are we in then? Why not let's call it stagflation which may be worse.

Dirt, the low unemployment rate is good but it does nothing for millions of people who are suffering from high inflation and a tanking stock market. I'm not placing the blame on any one thing or any one person. I'm just saying things are not rosy whether we're in a recession or not.

Scotty needs to beam you down to the surface of Planet Doofuss and then leave.
Stupid piece, does not consider the metrics used to measure a recession, 263K jobs added yet job openings fell by more than 1 million, means that companies are already cutting back, and we still have 1.5 million fewer people in the workforce than prepandemic hence the low unemployment numbers. Maybe they all got jobs selling fentanyl and that is why the left the job market.
Prices keep going up, there are increasing shortages of goods, food prices are rising whike packaging is getting smaller, etc, yet thay expect people to ignore all that and believe the economy is doing well. Propaganda works.
