Why are you and your wife grieving if your daughter is with Jesus.....???
That is a good question. We are grieving our earthly loss. It is a human emotion. However, we are greatly relieved to know that she is with the Lord, which we do. As Christians, we will miss our loved ones just as others do. We do take great consolation in knowing that they are not gone forever and that we WILL see them again. I cannot imagine how awful the alternative must be like.

Belief in science is little different from belief in Jesus/God/Trinity. No one can prove it, certainly not the bible. But many of science's 'truths' can be proven by math.
We currently do not even know the boundaries of the universe, so cannot compute how many “days” a Universe traverse might take. And if, as demonstrated, it is constantly expanding, the time might increase.
The quote from the Bible-fable about “resting on the seventh day” is completely unsubstantiated.
God created this whole mess in 6 days and on the 7th he rested. Can you agree that the first second after the big bang the universe was smaller than it is today? So with a "day" as a unit of measure it would take fewer "days" (one?) to cross the universe than it would take today. Unsubstantiated day off? I'm thinking if God wants a day off who's going to tell him no? and he did document it in his book. Try it, its a good read!
Frank Turek has never been effective, and is true to form in this essay.....
What he misses is that when God created sentient beings, both angels and man, by giving them choice the possibility of evil surfaced. Not to give them choice would have meant that they would merely have been robotic servants.

If we are not perfect...yet we were made in God's image...is not God therefore imperfect?
Everybody dies, in their own way. I (and many others here) have gotten old; almost everybody I've known.been related to has died. As well as seven decades of well loved pets. As they say: "There are a million stories on the Serengeti; and every one ends with a violent death," Death is inevitable and needs to be expected. If you think that a day for God might be a billion yeas for us It's about right.
