Thnks so much for stopping by and commenting. So glad you liked them. I can't grow dahlias here so i travel to find them. And, thanks for giving a name to the flow of the petals..."rhytmns" describes it perfectly

Barbara, I was not close. These were in a bed at a botanical garden, so i used a 28-300mm at 300. I used f/20 to get as much in focus that i could at b1/20 sec on a tripod.

I teach garden photography at a major public garden and woul be over the moon if I had captured these images. They’re spectacular.
